Goodbye, Europe!

So, long time no see! I know I've been a bit idle around these parts, so I'm really sorry for those I didn't get back to.

Anyhow; a little update. After getting married to ~Pepokish, we made a pretty major decision: We're going to move back to her hometown.. In the USA. This meant we had to go through a huge amount of paperwork, but I've finally been granted my visa(/greencard), and we're going to make the move to Washington within the next 2 months, if everything works out. unfortunately for you, that means I'll remain rather absent on deviantART, though you can always note/email me if you really need me!

_{I am Jan Mennenga, concept artist and illustrator hailing from The Netherlands.

Since 2003, I have been diving into the world of digital art. Though my personal preference lies with painting, I have learned to be as versatile as possible; from photomanipulation to vector work, I've tried to learn as much as I could - it really is one of my greatest passions. It is, in fact, a passion through which I found another one -~Pepokish and I met through our art on this website, and as of May 16th, we're husband and wife.

One reason I spend time meeting other artists, is because I love watching (and helping) artists grow. It is because of that that you'll often see me pick apart a piece entirely while writing critiques; something I much enjoy doing as a token of appreciation for an artist's work.

Thank you for your harsh critique. I will probably ask my anthro friend/beta reader about getting on FA; I am definitely rewriting the first chapter to be a little different style-wise.
