A guardian. A tower reaching into time, withstanding the infinity of chaos. Sure, it was but an office building, but it was a guardian - to me. And as I was led astray, dwelling through wild water and vast landscapes, my guardian showed me the way home.

For those of you who've always been there to guide me home. <3

What an inspiring dedication.
I'm not sure what this is (a matte, manipulation or painting?) technique-wise, but it's beautiful. So many tiny details. It springs to mind as some sort of a lighthouse.
I think this is a great interpretation to the concept altogether.

This is astounding, unbelievable detail. Clouds are beautiful. I'd love to see close ups.

Jan, you're alive! And you've been hard at work, I see. This is absolutely fantastic. Everything is so seamlessly blended. I love it.

Just beautiful, and your description really gives a meaning to the piece.

I have to ask: did you paint the entire city, or was some of it stock?

The city is a collection of about 6 stock photo's, all painted together, and painted over where needed in order to make them fit better.

The whole thing looks very natural, and gorgeous too. Hell, I'd live there in a heartbeat.

It looks fantastic! You did a wonderful job of making the building look very blended and natural in it's environment. <3

And, you really weren't kidding when you said 'A lot'. :giggle:
